It’s Okay, Guys, I’ll Pop Enrage

December 23, 2005 worldofwarcraft.com

warriors:

Enrage - The talent will now grant 5/10/15/20/25% extra damage when enraged, instead of 8/16/24/33/40%.

just wondering what the reason behind this is? sorry if this is a re-post.

Tseric:

That’s ok. I commented on the warrior forums about this before, but the thread may be lost or consumed.

14 Days Somehow Turned Into 2 Months

April 17, 2006 dtguilds.com/worldofwarcraft.com

Xi:

You have 14 Days. If after that time AQ is not properly tuned, I am deleting my characters, and cancelling all of my accounts. The rest of my guild will follow suit, as will several other guilds and people that play WoW.To be brief, I did not work my ass off, jumping through your idiotic hoops with my friends and guildmates, so I could go to a zone where there is zero fucking playtesting. That’s right not one fucking time did you incompetent fucks even try C’thun. EVEN if we ignore the bullshit that is Viscidus, FUCK YOU GUYS. Seriously, FUCK YOU.

Risen on World of Casualcraft

March 7, 2008 risen-guild.com

Failure:

Ok, so it’s a shitty title, sue me. The idea is there, and everyone knows it’s true. Blizzard no longer cares about the hardcore gamers, be that the raiders or the pvpers. Well, we’re done with it. It wasn’t just one thing really. While we were all excited to get some tier6 for our freshly 70 alts from this new badge gear, there’s a part of you that just has to feel some pain when you look back at all the time you spent farming instances…for nothing.

Do You Think Maybe We Drink Too Much?

December 16, 2006 elitistjerks.com

Praetorian:

This argument has been laid out many times, and it rears its head in threads about raid encounters, about real-money trading, about professions, about burnout, and so on and so forth. My aim here is not necessarily to break any new ground, but rather to summarize the main problems with consumables as they currently exist in WoW, and with alchemy in particular, as they relate to raid design and player enjoyment.

A Tsericifying Descent Into Madness

May 13, 2007 worldofwarcraft.com

Irrelevance:

where can i report CM’s?for inappropriate behavior/comments?

unless blizzard does hire them to simply demean and harass their paying customers in which case the question is,

why not outsource these jobs to all ready successful forums trolls, that are actually funny and would work for much less.

Attunement To The Core

June 19th, 2007 worldofwarcraft.com/elitistjerks.net

Tigole:

After a lot of thought and deliberation, we’ve decided to remove the attunement requirements to enter Serpentshrine Cavern and Tempest Keep: The Eye. While many of our attunements in the Burning Crusade have been good progression checks, a few of the attunements have turned out to cause unnecessary stress on guilds either doing the content or attempting to do the content. With Black Temple and Battle for Mount Hyjal thriving, we want to encourage (rather than prevent) new guilds and raid groups to attempt Serpentshrine and TK. We are going to leave the current attunement quests in the game so that players can still engage in the challenge and the lore of those quests should they choose to. At a later point, we are considering adding a final reward step to those quests as well (that way those who have already completed them would not miss out on a *new* reward). We’re listening to feedback from you guys constantly and your opinions are important to us. We want this game to be the best possible MMO experience for our players.

Enjoy Serpentshrine and Tempest Keep =)

(Please note: This change will go live later today — it’s not yet active)

You Are Not A Casual And Hardcore Snowflake

August 6, 2007 elitistjerks.net

Praetorian:

I am tired of reading the same exaggerated “arguments” regarding Blizzard’s design:”Blizzard only designs content for 1% of guilds”
“If you aren’t in a hardcore raiding guild and have no life you’re never going to see X”
etc.

If you cite WoWJutsu statistics in order to support your “argument,” that makes it even better. And by “better” I mean “more painful.”

We’ve been seeing the same shit repackaged and reposted since sometime in 2005 when people were complaining about how the Ahn’Qiraj world event was just exploiting gullible idiots to make sure that Blizzard’s darling raiding children got more epics.

Size Matters

May 6th, 2007 elitistjerks.net

Quigon:

When it was originally announced that the raid size for full raids was to be reduced to 25, there was a decidedly mixed reaction by the community at large. Most guilds here were midway through Naxxramas, and probably having the time of their lives.

Choking On Our Excess Of Cake

October 1st, 2007 elitistjerks.com

Praetorian:

After a fairly upbeat period of initial t6 farming (”Yay, we beat the game!” “Yay, we’ve got so much free time now!” etc.) I’ve noticed that on our end, interest and general enthusiasm about the game are at an ebb among many of my guildmates. Perhaps full 2.3 patchnotes will help change this, but for raid guilds who have already “beaten the game,” 2.2 was a fairly lackluster patch. For people who PvP a lot, the arena season has dragged on for too long already, with anyone who cares at all about arenas as something other than a way to get a quick weapon long ago having assembled a full Gladiator set, and many people waiting for the upcoming class changes to breathe some fresh life into the same old matchups.
