The bosses themselves at least in the Time level raids are pretty fun. The main problem with LDoN raids is just having to commit 3 hours to clearing endless trash. We have seen this before in high level zones (hello vex thal) but LDoN has really taken it to a whole other level.

If they cut down on the trash and focused more on the bosses and made things around 90mins to 2 hours it would be much better. That and they really need to take a look at the loot and have stuff drop thats going to be appealing to guilds that have been farming time for a while. Because that’s the only people who are going to see this loot. You need to be time geared to beat these things.

People talk a lot about the problems with EQ but this is really it. It’s the speed that they address problems in the game that are rather obvious fixes. I could run off a big list of things that took way too long to fix but people know them. You can add LDoN raids to that list. It’s pretty obvious what needs to be changed and I don’t think it would take a whole lot to make these things much better but we probably won’t see any meaningful changes for a long time if ever.

Two words:Fuck LDON.
This expansion is a big stinking pile of dogshit, perhaps even horse shit. The rewards are fucking pathetic, the timesinks far outweigh even our greatest expectations (~370 wins for +100hp/mana !) and the content is fucking boring and repetetive. Our last raid we got 2 peices of class-specific shit that rotted, 3 completely useless augs, 2 augs that lowballed off to people that really didn’t want them, and 1 +70hp aug. In 3 hours for an LDoN raid you can get ~2 peices of half-decent augs. In 6 hours in PoTime we can get 30 peices of non-rot non-lowball loot.

Oh yeah - And fuck the 32 man raid limit on 90% of the raids.

How many more days till WoW?
