14 Days Somehow Turned Into 2 Months

April 17, 2006 dtguilds.com/worldofwarcraft.com

Xi:

You have 14 Days. If after that time AQ is not properly tuned, I am deleting my characters, and cancelling all of my accounts. The rest of my guild will follow suit, as will several other guilds and people that play WoW.To be brief, I did not work my ass off, jumping through your idiotic hoops with my friends and guildmates, so I could go to a zone where there is zero fucking playtesting. That’s right not one fucking time did you incompetent fucks even try C’thun. EVEN if we ignore the bullshit that is Viscidus, FUCK YOU GUYS. Seriously, FUCK YOU.

Furor On Nerfing Content

January 24, 2003 fohguild.org

nadime:

We’ve had a Hinvat Deathbringer pop on us during a TZ (script) kill… but I don’t remember those guys AE rampaging. Did they change those guys?

Furor:

Yes.The entire event is so severly gimped now from its first two incarnations that I can hardly call it the same thing. I’m not sure what beta-board crybaby is responsible for this, but I know it was one or a group of them (probably some gimp in KTF that has Jahar’s ear and cock).

Seeding the NRG - New Raid Generator

aubrynmls:

The bosses themselves at least in the Time level raids are pretty fun. The main problem with LDoN raids is just having to commit 3 hours to clearing endless trash. We have seen this before in high level zones (hello vex thal) but LDoN has really taken it to a whole other level.

If they cut down on the trash and focused more on the bosses and made things around 90mins to 2 hours it would be much better. That and they really need to take a look at the loot and have stuff drop thats going to be appealing to guilds that have been farming time for a while. Because that’s the only people who are going to see this loot. You need to be time geared to beat these things.

People talk a lot about the problems with EQ but this is really it. It’s the speed that they address problems in the game that are rather obvious fixes. I could run off a big list of things that took way too long to fix but people know them. You can add LDoN raids to that list. It’s pretty obvious what needs to be changed and I don’t think it would take a whole lot to make these things much better but we probably won’t see any meaningful changes for a long time if ever.
